RENEWAL INFORMATION​​

For Salespersons and Associate Brokers

• Total CE required: 24 hours every 2 years (the license renewal cycle)

• Mandatory coursework (3 hours each):

  • Agency Law

  • Contract Law

  • Commissioner’s Standards

  • Disclosure

  • Fair Housing

  • Real Estate Legal Issues 

• Elective hours: The remaining 6 hours may be in the mandatory categories again (non-duplicate) or general real estate topics

• New as of January 1, 2025: You must also complete 1 hour each of:

  • Firewise (fire safety/prevention)

  • Deed Fraud (fraud detection/prevention)

  • Arizona Water (water rights & real estate) 

  • These must be included in your CE hours, effectively reducing the general elective portion 

• Daily limit: You may only claim up to 9 CE hours per calendar day
